Very Loud - Cools Well, but loud

HH#2026 9/14/2026

The first delivered refrigerator had to be exchanged - it was so loud, humming, support suggested keeping it for 48 hours to let everything settle. It was sooooo loud. Did an exchange. This one is loud as well, not as loud as the first one. The cooling is loud, just don't think a refrigerator should make enough noise in a house to be noticed. Disappointed.

Love my new Whirlpool refrigerator to be used as a second refrigerator in the laundry room. Just the right size and love the nice stainless finish.

I wish there was zero stars in the rating. The whirlpool refrigerator i bought never worked feom day 1. I called the support team only to be told that the earliset date they'd send a technician was in 15 days time. Only for them to send a guy in a suit to just come and confirm if indeed its working. The guy did'nt attend to it because he is not a techician. He left and said that a real technician would show up in 10 days. Very poor communication from whirlpool. I'd not reccommend any of their products.

The perfect backup!

Lisapooh 7/29/2026

We originally purchased this refrigerator for our garage but it was used as our kitchen fridge for 4 weeks while we waited for our kitchen fridge to be delivered. It is perfect for our garage purpose as an overflow from the kitchen fridge.

good product

DevEd 7/23/2026

Good product. Refrigerator thermometers we bought confirm it is cooling to the correct freezer and fridge temperatures. Adequate fridge capacity. Door storage is plentiful which helps with overcrowded shelves. Would have preferred two crisper drawers instead of one large one. Only drawback - whirring/grinding and motor noise is very loud when unit is self defrosting or temperature is being cooled down. Can hear it the next room! Makes me want to call for service to see if this is normal.
